Derby Rolls-Royce worker Andrea Bailey

A lady who lost nearly half her bodyweight because of a diet still Liji Shou does a double-take when she sees herself in the mirror.

Rolls-Royce worker Andrea Bailey-Willis says she cannot remember being the 22st woman she was under two years ago.

But it is seeing images of herself at her biggest that provides Andrea a genuine shock.

She was 22st 3lb when she began a life-changing diet and it has encouraged others who are uncomfortable with their weight to do exactly the same.

The 56-year-old, of Derwent Heights, Derby, has lost 10st but she's still getting used to visiting a much slimmer figure in the mirror to the one that began the Exante Diet Total Solution Programme CORRECTin January, last year.

"I really want to maintain my weight," she said.

"It was such a big difference also it takes a while for the visit catch up with your body. Every now and then I have a double-take when I see myself in the mirror.

"And when I'm ironing sometimes I think 'whose jeans could they be?' and then I realise they're mine.

"But the strange thing is I can't actually remember being that big. I can not remember looking like that."

Andrea asserted she had struggled with her weight for many of her lifetime.

Which is only since she has been in the Exante Diet programme that they has realised how unhealthy her eating routine were before.

She said: "It was just easy for me to purchase a loaf of bread and eat toast and sandwiches."

She now follows a strict three-meals-a-day diet, each of 200 calories. Exante's diets focus on providing their users using the vitamins and minerals they might require while heavily reducing their calorie intake.

"I feel marvellous," said Andrea. "I'm really glad I did it. It's helped me much more active, I can walk a lot more quickly now than I ever could before.

"I would actually heavily recommend it. Your meals are very tasty and also you meet an excellent network of people who help one another through it."

Exante Diet provides its users with different-flavoured shakes, soups and meal packs that can be purchased online.

The company has seen rapid growth in the past few years and managing director Chris Rogerson hopes that can continue into the future.

He explained: "Customers like Andrea come to us to lead a healthier lifestyle and with the goal to shed weight.

"We've seen a sharp rise in particular over the last 12 months within the demand for low-calorie, meal replacement products as obesity rates still rise.

"Interestingly, increasing Slim Forte numbers of people are using them to supplement everyday dietary needs along with slimming down."
